Celebrating 100 Years of Faith, Learning & Community at St Therese School
This week marked a truly joyful and historic moment in the life of our school as we officially launched our Centenary Celebrations - commemorating 100 years of Catholic education in Colonel Light Gardens. The spirit of celebration was alive in every corner of the school, with events that brought together students, staff, families, and the wider community in thanksgiving and joy.
SALA Exhibition Opening Night
We began with the vibrant opening of our SALA Exhibition, showcasing the artistic talents of our students and celebrating the creative spirit of our school. The evening was made even more special by the presence of local Members of Parliament Lousie Miller-Frost, Member for Boothby and Nadia Clancy, Member for Elder, who officially opened the exhibition and praised the school’s enduring legacy. The gallery was filled with colour, conversation, and pride as families and invited guests admired the beautiful works on display.
Whole School Prayer & Birthday Celebration
On Wednesday, the entire school gathered in prayer to give thanks for the blessings of the past century. This reflection and gratitude was followed by a delightful morning tea, where our visitors enjoyed coffee, cakes and conversations. The day continued with a program of activities, including dancing, games, and of course—more cake! Laughter and music filled the school as students and staff celebrated the rich history and bright future of St Therese School.
