From your APRIM
Sacramental Program
We continue to pray for our students who have just received the Sacrament of Confirmation this week. It was a very special occasion for our sacramental candidates and their families, and we were lucky to have Archbishop O’Regan preside over the Conferral of Confirmation. It is a joy to walk with these young people and their families on this important journey of faith. We thank our families and the Emmaus Parish Team for their support in preparing our children through evening and weekend workshops and shared masses. Please keep these students in your prayers as they grow in their understanding of God’s love and grace.
Vinnies Winter Appeal
Our sincere thanks to all families who have so generously donated to our Vinnies Winter Appeal. Your kindness will directly support those in need within our community through the colder months. We have been deeply moved by the compassion shown by our students and families. Donations of non-perishable food items, warm clothing, and blankets can still be brought to classrooms or the front office until Wednesday 2 July.
PEG Wine Drive
A heartfelt thank you to all families who supported our Term 2 Wine Drive. We expect wine orders to be ready for collection on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 July. Further information, including collection times and locations, will be shared with families as soon as delivery is confirmed. Thank you again for your generosity and patience.
PEG - Sports Day BBQ & Bake Sale
Thank you to all who contributed to our vibrant Sports Day BBQ and Bake Sale! From baking delicious treats, volunteering your time, patronage of our stalls, to cheering on students with great enthusiasm - your involvement made the day a true celebration of community spirit.
We are especially grateful to our Parent Committee and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Events like these not only raise funds for our school and bring people together but also reflect the heart of our school community.

Staff Reflection Day – Pilgrims of Hope
Last Friday, our staff came together for a shared day of renewal and faith formation at our annual Staff Reflection Day at the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre. Activities throughout the day were centred around the Jubilee Year theme “Pilgrims of Hope – Walking Together in Faith and Culture”. The day invited us to reflect on our shared journey as a Catholic and Dominican community over the last 100 years as we shared stories from old scholars and past members of our school community. We were honoured to learn more about Kaurna culture and spirituality, walking the land with deep respect and open hearts. The day included prayer, storytelling, music, and time to connect with one another as colleagues and people of faith. We look forward to sharing the spirit of this day as we work and share with students.
Thank you for your continued support, prayer, and partnership in your child’s education. As we move toward the end of the term, may we remain grateful for the many ways our school community comes together in faith, hope, and love. We would like to share one of the prayers from our Staff Reflection Day with you:
God of hope,
Be with us today.
Open our hearts to the stories that surround us
and lead us to be storytellers of hope in our world.
Let every word we hear,
Every reflection we hold,
And every step we take
Lead us more deeply into your story of love.
Amen.
